BPSC Assistant Section Officer Selection Process 2025
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) selects Assistant Section Officers through a two-part process. First, candidates must pass a Preliminary Examination, which has three sections. Those who clear the preliminary stage are then eligible for the Main Examination. The final merit list is determined by scores in the Main Examination, with an emphasis on experienced candidates, and is prepared separately for each category.
BPSC ASO Exam Pattern 2025 for Main Exam
Paper 1: General Hindi of the Assistant Section Officer Mains exam features multiple-choice questions, exclusively in Hindi. It’s a qualifying paper, meaning you need to secure a minimum of 30% marks. Failing to meet this threshold will result in your Paper 2 not being assessed, and your disqualification from the examination.
