The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is set to recruit talented athletes for 133 Constable (General Duty) positions under the Sports Quota for 2025. These are Group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial roles open to both male and female candidates.
The recruitment covers a wide array of sports including athletics, swimming, shooting, boxing, weightlifting, taekwondo, archery, kabaddi, football, hockey, and judo, among others. Candidates from all Indian states and union territories, including the northeastern regions, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Ladakh, are eligible to apply.

- Written Examination (85% weightage): This exam evaluates your subject knowledge and teaching aptitude.
- Interview (10% weightage): If you qualify in the written exam, you’ll be invited for an interview.
- Additional Qualification Marks (5% weightage): You can earn extra marks for qualifications like a Ph.D., M.Ed., or achievements in national-level sports.
